The restaurant has been a part of the American Canyon Chamber of Commerce since 2018 and has supported the organization in many of its events and gatherings. The restaurant provided the catering for the 2019 Great American Canyon Quest, a city-wide competition that brought in over $900 for the local business community.
In September of 2019, they hosted a Dine and Donate for Soroptomist, a women's empowerment service organization. Also that same month, they participated in American Canyon Chili Cook-Off that was sponsored by the city's Kiwanis and Lions Club where they placed 3rd out of over a dozen teams. All money collected from this event was given to the American Canyon Emergency Food Pantry.
LASO also donates all of its corkage fee proceeds to local schools in the area including Napa Junction Elementary School, American Canyon Middle School, and the American Canyon High School. The owner of Laso, Ming, believes a child's education is crucial towards his or her success.
